Deadlam

What’s funny is with all the Stooooooooooooooooooops crap. He ran a terrible route and Gabriel threw it to him for a gain of 1 on 4th and 5 to end the game
Watching the replay, I think the orange 50 yard line subconsciously messed with his mind. He thought that was the line to gain and followed it perfectly.

so one of my gooner friends said there will be one more bedlam game this year...Big 12 Championship...
Doubtful. We both have to win out, and then Texas AND Kansas have to lose at least one more game.

Watch Xavier Benson on that play, he brackets Stoops underneath and forces Gabriel to wait to throw the ball until Stoops was almost to the sideline, giving him no chance to catch the ball and turn upfield.

And I think Gabriel is banged up. He did almost no running. That is very uncharacteristic of him, and leads me to think that he's got an injury that they are keeping quiet.

Could be, i havent heard anything about that but he is normally pretty mobile

You simply will never understand the differences in fanbases. There will be rivalries...

Oh, wait...y'all dont think its a rivalry anyway GTFO!
Dont lump me in with everyone else. i am an individual, not a member of a borg collective.

So what rivalries are you most looking forward to ? out of curiosity. baylor, tech, ucf? maybe colorado ?

I won’t miss the game one bit. There was a time when I could name most of the OU starters and I used to turn on their games when it looked like they were going to lose. Now beyond Trace Ford and Gabriel, I can’t name a single player. I am much more interested now in the real Big 12 teams like K-State. Good riddance!
I mean okay but so far this season bedlam was the most watched game Osu was a part of. by far. and you'd have me believe kansas state moves the needle more ? bedlam had over 1.5 million more viewers than the osu kansas state game. tell me you get more satisfaction out of beating purple kansas than you do OU

Yep, OU treasured this rivalry so much they shat all over it on the way out the door. 2nd longest continual rivalry behind Wisconsin/Minnesota, and they DGAF compared to those SEC dollars. GTFO with that sentimental crap, y’all showed what it takes to tip the scales & its money; everything else including that tradition you speak of meant 0.

Zip it & piss off to your new home. I hope the Boys do their F-ing jobs & send you off with a fat L & guarantee your spot on the couch with Texas in December.
If one had to choose between playing in sec and losing bedlam or staying in a mid major conference with awful matchups and keep bedlam, the choice is easy.

There's always a reason why
We are past that now.

now we are on to the future. And in the future, who will osu's rival be? what game will you most look forward to every year? I think it's a fair question and interestingly the only answer i've seen so far is kansas state. Would you say kansas state is your new premier big game?

I think from here going forward a rivalry will have to develop. If Utah continues to be ranked in the top twenty then they may be the new rival. Who knows but you seem to be more worried about it than most OSU fans. Why the concern?

I forgot about utah. they are a solid program and would be a nice rival. though they will always see byu as their rival, there's a lot of hatred between the two. but if the two teams compete for conference titles then a rivalry certainly can develop.

This isnt worry or concern, it's curiosity. When one of the best rivalries in the sport is broken up, it makes me wonder. Just as a football fan in general, to me, the best aspect of college football are the rivalries

3.9 million people in oklahoma, about 3.7 million people watched bedlam last week. more people watched than ND clemson. I know it's not all okies so this game has national interest as well

I will admit if Ou didnt have texas as a rival, i'd be slightly more concerned. but they do have them every year and I can see some rivalry developing between a handful of their sec opponents in the near future so that is exciting. I'm just glad to have some fun home games for a change. it got real boring and stale hosting the likes of tech, baylor, wvu, tcu etc.
