Cowgirls go at 11:00 am on Friday against the winner of the Thursday matchup between Kansas State and Texas Tech. Cowgirls lost to KSU on the road and beat Tech at home.

In Wednesday’s opening day action (so far), KSU knocked down 17 three’s (tournament record) to run rule Cincinnati, 91-66. In a battle of Cougarettes, the lady LDSers beat the Houston socialites by 10. BYU advances to an always fun matchup against Utah. ASU won an offensive snoozefest against rival Arizona, 54-51. ASU plays Iowa State tomorrow. Only people in Lawrence and a few subdivisions in Orlando care who wins the nightcap. The KU-UCF winner plays Colorado tomorrow.

Here’s hoping the Cowgirls can string together a few really good games and move up 1-2 spots in the NCAA tournament seedings. HCJH needs to start winning some games in the tournament.

KSU upset Tech after going on a 21-0 run to close out the game. TTU didn't score for the final 7:43. At that time, TTU had a 99.2% chance of winning according to ESPN.
Wow! KSU didn’t really shoot the ball that well. Tech scored 21 points in the first period and then 30 points over the last three quarters. They had four points in the 4th period.

Cowgirls lost by nine in Manhattan on 2/10. They trailed the entire game and then tied it up in the middle of the fourth period, only to go into hibernation for the rest of the game.
