From a top 10 program to currently bottom of Big 12.

Shippy hasn't been much better. Godwin, Hasler, and even Rosie are massively underachieving.
Timm had a great start but she'll end up around .300
 
In softball you have to be able to score with a single swing of the bat. I wish there was a stat that showed how many runs were scored via the HR. I imagine it's a LOT. It's hard to string together enough walks and hits in an inning to score many runs. We lack punching power at the plate necessary to overcome our mediocre pitching.

Yes this team has the least power of an OSU team in quite some time.

It's so weird how the ball always seems to fly out when they're in Clearwater (against good pitching) but doesn't really anywhere else.
 
Meanwhile, the Ole Miss pitching coach has turned Adcock back into a reliable pitcher. She is 8-3 on the season with a 2.7 era and a 1.25 whip.

Edwards and Wark are both hitting much better for A&M than they did last year. Wark had 8 homeruns last season and already has 10 this season. Edwards is hitting over .400 right now.
 
Game 3 underway. Ruby in the circle. ASU’s pitcher has 89 k’s in 48 ip. She has a 1.1 whip, but a 3.04 era. She is susceptible to the long ball.

Cowgirls get a hit, but don’t score in the T1.

Austin - her average has really tanked March. Down to .247, but her OBP is near .450. She walks.
