Because Eberle hasn’t shown the ability to develop pitchers. Kenny has always just gotten already developed pitchers out of the portal.

Eberle was never ready for this job. Kenny took a massive gamble hoping she would develop into the job, and she hasn’t. In return, might’ve set his program back a little.

Shippy hasn't been much better. Godwin, Hasler, and even Rosie are massively underachieving.
Timm had a great start but she'll end up around .300

In softball you have to be able to score with a single swing of the bat. I wish there was a stat that showed how many runs were scored via the HR. I imagine it's a LOT. It's hard to string together enough walks and hits in an inning to score many runs. We lack punching power at the plate necessary to overcome our mediocre pitching.

Yes this team has the least power of an OSU team in quite some time.

It's so weird how the ball always seems to fly out when they're in Clearwater (against good pitching) but doesn't really anywhere else.
