Agreed, very nice win given the players that were out tonight. They were gassed but made their free throws when they had to have them. Hopefully this helps improve the team next year.

Lutz said they’re doing what they need to do to work their way back, but he hasn’t decided yet. Roy was very into the game on the bench, during huddles, etc. Miller and IColeman were both there, but definitely didn’t seem as engaged.

Why didn't we see some of this way earlier in the year?

Well, suspending players for breaking team rules is different than not hustling back on defense. But I agree with you.

Lutz has definitely disappointed so far. Needs to deliver next year.

It is a different scenario, but I seem to remember Lutz saying if you don't play defense, you don't get on the court.

What was he supposed to do? Play with 2 guys on the court? Kind of hard to hold kids accountable when the back up’s aren’t doing it either. I feel like this year is on Lutz from a roster building standpoint not a coaching one. He built a roster that didn’t gel and these are the results. I do think we are a little bit prisoners of the moment though. No matter what anyone says this team is better than last years team and we have a good recruiting class coming in. Pull a pass first point guard out of the portal please!

The last part feels like something a bunch of people said last year, & throughout the fb season.

I really don’t understand saying that the coaching was fine, blame it on the roster. These are the dudes he brought in and coached.
