I gave up on Holliday years ago. His first four years we were competitive but the last nine years he only advanced to the Supers one time. Conference title is nice but post season success is where the big boys show up. He can't blame nine years on NIL, especially when many non-P-4 teams are having much more success. There are coaches out there with more baseball acumen and drive than Holliday that would love to come here. Giving Holliday a short term extension on the time, such as making regionals is delaying the inevitable. He "is who he is" and isn't going to change. We need all our sports programs to maximize potential at a time when future conference consolidation might take place. Weiberg needs to get this change done soon.
