Can we put a stipulation on taking ASU that we'll only do it if that Michael Crow clown is required to be in a dunk tank outside every stadium ASU plays in before kickoff?
We are 100% in the drivers seat right now and, sorry guys - I know I’m a broken record here, we should really reconsider ASU. So many more dominoes will fall. ASU will be available down the road if we want. Stay at 14 and see what else falls.

This according to a very, very high level person within UConn athletics… “we still expect an invite to the Big 12 as early as next week”.
That’s all I can share on that.
No idea if there has been discussions with Yormark lately, no clue if this is just wishful thinking - I honestly don’t know and I’m not going to press. Just putting it out there for you all to consume and digest.

If Big 12 adds Arizona AND UConn after adding Houston it would be the Greatest Basketball conference of all time
This is the first convo I’ve had with this person that didn’t come with details and facts. Which is why I didn’t follow up or press the convo. That text could be wishful thinking, it could be frustration and pride, could be desperation.
Everything I’ve shared about UConn on this board has been grounded in facts. This text felt a bit weird and I wasn’t even going to share it until I saw the “exploring all options tweet”.
Again, I know, for a fact, Yormark really wants UConn. He pitched them, not the other way around. He spent a lot of time on that campus a few months ago and met with a lot of coaches one-on-one. He covets the NYC market. And UConn was absolutely told to expect an invite.
Now with the PAC 12 situation and how quickly that unfolded, I have to assume things changed.
I still believe Uconn is a matter of “when”, not “if”. But I also would be shocked, despite that message, if it happened this round.
