I know this event is over, but not a single post about anything that went on this weekend surprisingly. I had to post something because our boys put on a dominant performance. Even though Iowa and PSU were not there, there were some powerhouse teams like Nebraska, Ohio State, Virginia Tech and Michigan, and we put up a dominant performance, almost doubling the points of the second place team. Coach Taylor is doing some fantastic things with this team! Only going to get better as time goes on! Got my 4 tickets to watch the boys manhandle the Goons In their own gym this Friday! Still some tickets left, we need to fill it with Orange clad fans!

I love the newfound energy DT and rest of the coaching staff is bringing to the program. I like the style we wrestle and looking forward to competing at the Nationals. Need to shore up a few weights to make a run at PSU.

Totally agree with all of that, I think we have a possible shot this year of finishing second ahead of Iowa. Guys that were here before are just wrestling in a different more aggressive manner and the transfers have helped take us to another level. Barring PSU having some sort of injury situation, it would be a tall ask to overtake them this year, but I guarantee you they’re not going to win by 100 points like they did last year.

A major difference I saw in this year's CKLV is the poise that this team had. Every guy on the team performed to their seed or better. This is something that the Cowboys have always struggled with throughout the last few years and it's something that Penn State has always done well at. The ability to show up on match day and AT LEAST meet expectations is such an undervalued aspect in this sport. DT definitely has the boys trending in a positive direction.
