Are you sure Barrett won’t be back? Wentworth is being speculated as the starter on Sunday, but then who would start vs ORU on Tuesday? Would they have Stormy start on Tuesday night?

Sounds like it. On Josh's Wednesday coaches show he indicated that he was "day to day" and was shut down at BYU for precautionary reasons. Then after today's game he indicated that moving forward Stormy will be in the weekend rotation. The only conclusion I could draw from that is Barrett is now done for the season. Not sure how you go from "day to day" on Wednesday to done for the season 3 days later but it appears that's the case. I don't know if it's a case of the kid being overly cautious 2 years removed from TJ surgery or if something has flared up that necessitates already shutting him down for the year.

Barring a miracle, he’s expected to remain out for the remainder of the season. As far as Tuesday is concerned. Sunday is way more important than Tuesday. Get the sweep, and worry about ORU later. Stormy isn’t starting against ORU, that would be flat out stupid
 
Oru sucks so we shouldn’t have to worry about them. Our lineup should batter their pitching. But then again they should have battered Missouri States pitching as well

Update on Pesca: a baseball with a high seam on it cut his finger. Will be fine

Josh says "Hudson very well may not be a starting pitcher any more this season."

"Hudson may be more of a relief pitcher, going forward."

Stormy could be available for an inning or two today.

In pregame Josh was bragging about how important it is to have 6'6 lefty batters like Bruegge

Coach Ward just pointed out how good Bruegge is doing despite being a 6'6 lefty with such a big strike zone to cover. Points out that there have been very few in the majors.
