Saying there is a just war doctrine for the Iran War just reinforces my belief that the slogan "Peace through strength" is a fraud. The USA has thousands of nuclear bombs. Now if Iran was developing advanced ICBMs equipped with nuclear bombs why would Iran fire them toward the U. S. knowing that it would be totally destroyed in return? Fear was expressed that Iran could fire them to attack Europe. Has it ever been chanted in Iran, "Death to Italy"? Or to Europe? MAD-Mutual Assured Destruction works better than "Peace through strength".
