Christian Nationalism

I wonder how many starving children could eat with that $100. Modern Christianity is nothing but a long term grift. CMV
Not all Christianity. Some of us are out here trying to help our fellow church members get through the shut down without SNAP.

I asked AI about the $100;
  • The actual number of meals or children a smaller amount like $100 can feed varies significantly based on the local cost of food and the specific project. For example, some school meal programs can cost as little as $0.50 per meal.
The answer is a lot.

Matthew 25:43-45
For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’

Matthew 16:24-27
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

Jesus wants us to be willing to give up everything for his sake. And by everything he means literally everything. I’m not sure my evangelical brethren clearly hear this message.

It's a wonder that Jesus got disciples for preaching like that and kept them.
