Christian Nationalism

Fun fact, Matthew 17:21 is not in the most reliable Greek versions of the ancient manuscript and is considered a later addition and is often now omitted due to this.
Yep. That is probably the only reason I knew about Matthew 17:21 was because of its history.

This is where I knew that most Christians would have woken up and said ....whoa wait

I'm very atheist. Your 3rd paragraph is exactly what Christianity represents to me, and has for a while. The only thing you left out was sanctioned pedophelia for a few hundred years.

The bad FAR outweighs the good, and has for a very very long time.

Religion is responsible for almost all the horrific things that have ever happened to mankind.

To both your and polds’ points, below is an exert from the constitution of a Doug Wilson Christian Nationalist church plant in the se US. I follow this closer than I should bc a long time family friend’s daughter is married to the guy doing the plant and he will eventually become the lead pastor.

This language is in regards to how they discipline a grown member of their church who has committed an offense that they themselves judge and jury.

“It is therefore with grief that the Elders of King’s Kirk Presbyterian Church unanimously pronounce that [ ] is hereby expelled from King’s Kirk. We declare this day, by the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, the head of the church, that [ ] is excommunicated in accordance with the requirements of Scripture, and is put outside the body of Christ. [He/she] is delivered to the domain of Satan, and is hereafter to be deemed an unbeliever, thus excluding [him/her] from any hope of salvation, unless [he/she] humbly repents and is converted. It is our prayer that
God will use this action we have taken today to glorify His name, and if He is willing, to restore [ ] to fellowship with us.”

Note they not only kick that person out of the church but also elevate themselves to God and exclude that person from eternal salvation.

Their aim is to take over the government. It’s different from Kenneth Copeland or Joel Olsteen. Those types just want your money. These CN guys want to dominate you.

I still think we will never get there bc the Tech bros are on the same path and seem to have the inside track. Not sure thats a better outcome.
Have the two of you considered a backup citizenship?

Peter Theil is the person responsible for JD Couch Vance.

There are some important distinctions here. 1st JD is catholic. A recent convert I might add. He is also married to a Hindu which I have read is what his children are being raised as.

No one in JD’s family including JD will be allowed to function in a true Doug Wilson Christian Nationalist society. True CN’s don’t believe Catholics are even Christian and have it in their “constitution” that the Pope is anti Christian.

Peter Theil in a Doug Wilson CN society will be excommunicated at best but probably would be executed in public because he is gay.

Also to note for CN to truly gain ultimate power they will have to either do away with the Supreme Court or replace/reshape current justices as 7 of 9 are catholic not to mention we have 4 of 9 that are women. And as stated true CN will not allow Catholics to function in society and women definitely cannot hold roles outside of the house.

When you really look at true Doug Wilson CN women, minorities and those outside of CN doctrine cannot participate in society no education. No employment. No voting. No healthcare. No positions of office.

Society will collapse. That’s why it’s my belief that the US will fracture into multiple countries. One of which will be a CN nation. Texas and Florida will take SE and probably OK. West coast will be coasts of CA, WA & OR w maybe AZ and CO and NM and southern NV. and the eastern parts of CA, OR and WA will join w Idaho, MT, WY and the Dakotas. Great Lakes will be a country as will the North East.

Far-right pastor: It's a 'failure of parental duty' not to tell kids to avoid Black people

Far-right Christian nationalist pastor Joel Webbon proclaimed in a recent speech captured by People For the American Way's Right Wing Watch that white parents must instruct their children to fear and not to interact with Black people — and that any parent who teaches children to be loving and accepting of all races is feeding them a lie that could put their lives in danger.

"If you're a Christian white parent who loves the Lord and loves your children, you need to have The Talk," said Webbon. "The Talk that we're referencing is the talk that takes your children, according to their maturity, at the proper time, the appropriate time, and says, there are certain parts of town that you cannot go. And there are certain people that you cannot be around."

"If there's someone who is Black in our church, and they've been in our church and we know them and they love the Lord Jesus Christ, great. We're not talking about that person," Webbon continued. "But we're talking about when you go into a crowd of people, if you go into a crowd of strangers, and they're white strangers, there's some danger. If they're Black strangers, there is 30 times more danger. Them's the facts."

"And it is actually a failure of your parental duty, white parents, please hear me, if you teach your children growing up, if you lied to them, and say, all people and all races of people in our country are the same. They are not," he added. "You are actually depriving your child of factual, truthful information that could save their life."

Christian nationalism is an extremist political movement, beyond mere belief in Jesus Christ, that holds the United States was designed to be, and must be, subordinated under their interpretation of Biblical law. Central to their belief is the Seven Mountains Mandate, which says Christians, or at least their specific flavor of Christians, must take command of the seven supposed pillars of control within society.

White supremacist views are a frequent undercurrent within the Christian nationalist community, with some preachers openly praising the institution of slavery. And the movement has been growing in political influence under Trump, with the Department of Homeland Security even using Christian nationalist ideas in recruitment videos.

seems Christians spent ALOT of time calling out MUSLIMS for Normal Muslim congregations and pastors NOT calling out extremist Muslims and Extremist Muslim Teachers.

But REFUSE to do the same to extremist Christians.

These Christian Nationalist are Nothing more than the SAME EXACT thing as Muslim extremist and the Silence of "Normal Christians" is DISGUSTING.

This is disgusting and not at all a “faith” I want to be a part of.

Webbon is a fraud. A dangerous one at that. You can see watch videos of him from a couple of years ago (actually don’t they are still revolting) and his accent is nowhere near the Thurston Howell the Third level it is today. He tries to make himself sound edgumahcated.

He’s like the traveling snake oil salesman. Clicks and engagements to make money. The more outrageous like this racism the more money he generates.

But don’t tell Rob there’s a racist out there. According to him that stuff ended 60-70 yrs ago.

I totally understand that he's not a representative of "real" faith. But when he's allowed to spew this nonsense, and it actually increases his following, and the "real christians" don't squash it...are they complicit?

IMO…Yes. But I believe that about most things today’s American “Christians” stay silent on.

Two attempts on the President's life....
Teslas being vandalized and explosives at dealerships.....
Trans in multiple mass shootings....
Charlie Kirk murdered......
Funding/support for the murderer of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska.....

Those dang Christians are dangerous!!!!!!
I'm fully with my friend @Bowers3 .....
Can we not this time? Just. Enough.
Tribe A makes a list of all the sins of Tribe B.

Tribe B makes a list of all the sins of Tribe A in response.

Meanwhile all of civilization burns to the ground because we won't anything to put the fire out.....just keep making those tribal lists.
