I know we probably don’t have a ton of NBA fans here, but I’m here to tell you that Cade is already the best Cowboy in the NBA ever.

Dude is already just ‘Cade’ in NBA discussions-he’s that good. Has taken an absolutely awful Pistons franchise to the playoffs and is one of those stars that just makes everyone around him better and you look up and he’s got 25 points.

He’s one of those guys where the game never looks sped up to him, sees the whole floor and just makes plays throughout the ebbs and flows of an NBA game. The team has a reputation of being tough, but he’s always emotionally under control-bb IQ is off the charts.

I don’t know if they’ll win this series against the Knicks, but he’s headed for super star status in short order.

You could tell his 1 year here that he is a generational talent without the hype

Much like Gundy and the failure in recruiting after the 2011 football season, Boynton didn't capitalize on landing Cade. Well, I know why.... Boynton recruited guys with a certain type of personality. A type that he could get along with. And that's not speculation..that's literally how Boynton recruited.

Cade is definitely outstanding in the NBA. Tbh, I didn't think he would be a generational talent. During his only year, he certainly was more talented than every player he played with and against... easily.

He is like SGA to me in that he just quietly goes about his business and then late in the game, you suddenly realize he’s filled the stat sheet & impacted the game more than anybody else on the floor.
Just going about his business…

That was what I noticed about him. With the hype I expected him to come in and just dominate a game but often I'd be watching thinking maybe he's having an off night. Then you look up and he's had like 25 points and just hit a clutch 3-I had to realize he has such a natural feel for the game that the way he plays is just different.

Its too bad we live in an era where elite players are one and done. What he could have done in the college ranks if he stuck around 2-3 years and we had a couple more elite players come in just to play with him...

Exactly. He’s the best player on the floor a lot of nights, which is saying something. He’s gonna be a huge FA that Detroit better lock up.

It sucks that he played for us during the COVID year, I never got to see him play. GIA would have actually been packed and rocking.
We have another chance with Montanatis kid!! Jalen is not in the same atmosphere as Cade and a lot of his success is daddy ball but still a great alumni and great kid he appears from the outside! Would love to have a little spark back to the tradition rich early Y2K cowboys!
