Ouch. Very hurtful to the kool aid drinkers. Like me. Fortunately I figured it out after only 4-5 years. Still love the guy, just don't want him as my head coach.

Too bad for bow tie guy, but I'm (fractionally) older now, and he's not getting the benefit of the doubt from me, because A) I thought Shrum was doing a great job, at least as an ambassador and the face of the University, B) the firing and replacement appeared to be primarily politically motivated, and C) I have a hard time taking anyone seriously if they think a bow tie is a good look. He may be a genius, but he still looks like a dork.

I liked Coach Mike too. He is a good man BUT we did not do our due diligence in the coaching search when he was hired.
