It was an ugly night, but I will take a Big12 championship in Taylor’s first year. The first for the Cowboys since 2021. Will only go up from here.

I was pretty confident about us taking second at the NCAA championships. I’m not sure if that is a realistic expectation at this point. If Hendrickson has a broken wrist/arm that takes away an enormous amount of points from us at nationals. I hope he’ll be able to wrestle….. definitely a massive opportunity for learning while still eating at a big 12 championship. DT and all his wrestlers should be watching these finals and learning what not to do in two weeks.
