What a win!!! If they’re able to run the table the rest of the week…they’ll be in host conversation again. Might be a good weekend for both softball and baseball!

This to me shows that arrogant, curb stomping approach after a walk is taught. It shows me that their pompous softball gooner magic that always happens (except tonight!) is a momentum gaining act of energy. I’ve always wondered why she allows bat flipping and exuberant celebrations on routine plays and to me it shows she wants her teams to be intimidating and boisterous….and it has worked for years! Glad Ruby and the hitters bowed up tonight!!!

All that stuff they do annoys me, but you can't argue with the results.
I noticed McDonald got pretty animated after a walk, and Godwin fell down on the celebration at home plate after her HR and almost hurt herself
If that is what gets them going, go for it.It's hard to imagine that same OSU team got run ruled 12-0 by Iowa State 5 days earlier.
But I do agree a lot of OU's "enthusiam" seems manufactured and not genuine. More like they're putting on a show.

Just checked the RPI and we only went up one spot. Partially because OU's RPI isn 't #1, its #7, because their schedule is so soft.

They very much belong to the school of fake it til you make it. It seems to work for them. Up big, down big they have energy, even if its fake. It part of the reason they are never out of game. That fake energy can quickly snowball into real momentum. Of course a lot of time it doesn't and you look like a jack a**.All that stuff they do annoys me, but you can't argue with the results.

Glad others can see it also. That little league chest beating, fake ass stuff is a clown show. I remember when Show and a few others acted that way when they would mock Coach G in his interviews and put cups on his hat etc. it works til you lose then you look like idiots. Problem is the gooners rarely lose due to national recruiting of elite superstars
