Bedlam basketball at Paycom

You think they should go ahead and play those games and see what happens or just go ahead and pack it up?

Some times teams improve, and they shoot better, and they get healthier. The sky isn't falling after one loss.
Well they will play them regardless of my feelings. I’m just tired of losing all the time especially to schools like OU. Football is one thing but other sports I expect us to win

If the Thunder lose tonight…

Yesterday stunk so bad.

We missed several high-percentage scoring opportunities and have significant room for improvement. We should've easily won this game.. too many missed shots there were basically given to us

Side note: Boynton has energized Michigan. He recruited nearly the entire roster himself, and the head coach has cited his recruiting ability as the key reason for hiring

Edit: Michigan is ranked 2nd.
Yeah that's the deal with Boynton. He'll be one of the best assistant coaches a program can get. A head coach, not so much..

Really hope Parsah can take the next few games to get healthy for conference play because we have no post offense without him and we got dominated in the interior on D. Disappointed in the international guys behind him they did not rise to the occasion.

Also, today stung even harder than usual because of the atrocious athletic products we have had to watch the last few years in football and MBB. Felt like the cowboy fans needed this win. But if this team can play defense and be less selfish on offense they can be a very good team. Playing in the Big 12 isn’t easy though so if they don’t figure it out it will be tough sledding.
You nailed it. We expected a chance to celebrate a big OSU in for the first time in a long time.

But, it's not fair to the players for us to put that on their shoulders.

I think on some level, the pressure the fan base puts on our athletes to win Bedlam can contribute to some of the sq**nky moments. But that's a thought for another day.

So full disclosure, I’m a terrible fan. I didn’t even know Pokes team had someone named Parsah. Additionally, my bball IQ is almost as bad. I can tell when a team runs zone vs man to man. But that’s about it.

That said, just using the eye test, it looks like there is at least a system or process to what the team is doing. I love Boynton as a role model of a human being, but I never understood what was going on the floor.

All that said, I’m not ready to abdicate our role in bedlam basketball yet. Pokes are better than the last two years BY A LONG SHOT and although they didn’t win, they were up briefly and had a chance to win, but got severely out rebounded and missed easy shots. I want to see how the team responds. IF they play like that a year from now, then we look for a new coach. But good gravy, no way am I gonna say Pokes shouldn’t be playing OU in basketball. We had a good time in OKC and it woulda been GREAT to see Pokes win, but I think it was a good experience for both the teams and the fanbase.

Lastly, our band and Pom/cheer squad dominated! So suck it, OU!

Without reading this whole thread, what happened to Fallah? I was busy getting on a cruise ship and missed a lot of the game.
