ASU vs. OSU Match

Pretty much dominating with all the starters. Kody Rutledge filled in for Dee Lockett and wrestled well for most of the match and should have won. He let it slip away by giving up last second takedown. The Ritchie Figueroa experiment needs to be over. 10-5 loser to his former teammate at ASU. Ramirez would have won that match. Figueroa has no gas tank and can’t finish. He will cost us at Nationals if he is in the starting lineup. The way he’s wrestling now he wouldn’t even qualify. Maybe David is waiting for Jax in 5 weeks? Not sure why we’re wrestling so many starters this weekend.

If Jax doesn’t arrive early, you go Ramirez at 133. Either is a better option compared to Figs. I am hoping Tagen comes and takes 149 spot. You make changes to 133 and 149 and could be the difference to make a top two finish for the team in Cleveland.

Does anyone know status of Hughes. I think he is a stud who I would love to see start.

Good news, if we see issues with team, you can be sure Taylor does.

Vaga is big for 141. Could he move to 149. Normally I would say no, but I have seen Hardy in person and he is a big 141 pounder. Vega is meaningfully taller than Hardy (but very thin).

Is it just me or does Ryder look small for 184 and Merrill look small for 197? Maybe that helps us at nationals if guys are not cutting as much, but to me they look small.
