Astronomy Club

Stargazer

Deputy
Anyone interested in an astronomy club gathering tonight in Owasso? I’ve got 15 acres, and we’ll be set up right in the middle of it with telescopes everywhere. There will be plenty of beginner scopes, along with advanced and expert setups—more than 100 telescopes in total for what should be an incredible night of stargazing.

There will be plenty of chairs, and I’ll have a grill going nearby. We’ll have lots of food: hamburgers, hot dogs for the kids, slow-roasted brisket, and plenty of sides like baked beans, potato salad, and other salads. Drinks will be covered too—pop, water, tea, and a few brewskies.

And of course, the six-figure $$$ star of the show. What she reveals through the eyepiece is truly mesmerizing. I even built an observatory just to house my baby.

The telescope action will begin around 7pm. Message me if you’re interested, and I’ll send you the location and details.

*We meet up every Saturday

You got a laugh out of me 🤣

The astronomy club I created is something I actively run in Owasso. Many astronomy clubs charge a monthly fee for meetings and telescope training, but I don’t do that. I genuinely enjoy helping people who share the same curiosity about the night sky, so I train beginners completely free of charge.

My goal is simple: to help as many people as possible become amateur astronomers. Astronomy has a way of changing your perspective and the way you think about the universe, life and your existence.

The first time I looked through a telescope, it completely changed my life. I was in middle school, and that moment sparked a passion that has stayed with me ever since. I always wished there had been an astronomy club in my hometown, so eventually I decided to create my own—with the goal of helping as many people as possible experience that same sense of wonder.
