American Healthcare continues to go backward

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt defended President Donald Trump’s post about “med beds” that cure any and all diseases as “refreshing” and part of his commitment to transparency.

Man its gotta be weird to be a press secretary.

Then was she asked why Trump deleted that post? Commitment to transparency? To prove he's a demented idiot? What next? Is Trump going to mistake an AI simulation as an incoming nuclear missile?

That is a tough job in general. We've never had a president like this and being the current press secretary is an unbelievable job. You have to be willing to make yourself look like an idiot to explain the unexplainable.

If he is suffering from cognitive decline but has surrounded himself with loyalists who will do as he says no matter what, the job of press secretary trying to explain is going to get even tougher.

She herself is one of those loyalists who will do as he says no matter what so she's perfect for the job.

She's not interested in credibility, reasoned rationales, or "trying to explain". She's a sock puppet miming whatever responses she's been given to say.

She's not a "press secretary". She's an administration approved attack poodle of the press.

She was a whack job Toadie before she was press secretary. She ran for the house and was defeated, which is why she got this job.

She is just a younger version of Kari Lake.

I'm not sure if these responses are because somehow I gave the impression that I was feeling sorry for her, respecting her, or otherwise talking her up.

If so, damn boys, you know me better than that.

For me it was this "conditional statement":

"If he is suffering from cognitive decline but has surrounded himself with loyalists who will do as he says no matter what, the job of press secretary trying to explain is going to get even tougher."

IMO there is no "if" about it. He is....he has...and she's one of those loyalists just doing what he says no matter what.

So you didn't give the impression you were "feeling sorry for her", "respected her", or was "talking her up".

It was more like you were giving her the benefit of the doubt that she might be something other than a complete and utter lackey cultist. Personally, I put her about on par with Stephen Miller.

Can you imagine the cognitive dissonance of seeing Trump standing at the podium with the CEO of Pfizer….

Better than those moderna hippies!
I mean Trumpians hate Moderna only slightly less than Pfizer, but Pfizer is evil incarnate.

My brother who has voted for Trump three times, “How is this guy a Republican?”

He isn’t. He never was. He’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing destroying the Republican Party and the world with it.

Me: “do you remember me sitting in your living room in 2016 trying to tell you not to fall for this guy?”

Pretty sure its not just Trump acolytes that hate Pfizer.
