Pretty much have done all that. My interest in college football is at an all-time low. Until they reform NIL and the transfer portal in someway to where you don’t have a completely new team every single year with nearly no names you recognize, I’m pretty much out on supporting it. It impacts other sports as well, but not to the degree that it does football and basketball where you have a complete new team every year. I’m back to my first and best love at Oklahoma State, which is wrestling!Don't like it don't support it. Don't watch, don't go, don't donate. Let the seats sit empty, when it starts to die action will be taken to bring sanity back to the situation.
This is what basketball has been for years already...Pretty much have done all that. My interest in college football is at an all-time low. A major first step in fixing these issues would be to have actual enforceable multi-year contracts for players and for coaches so that you don’t have this mass migration multiple times a year when the transfer portal opens. Even professional sports have limitations on when and how many times you can change teams or renegotiate your contract. Until they at least follow that model, college sports is pretty much irreparably broken!
It's been particularly bad for us because of coaching changes and Gundy fighting it early on. It will slow down once we get some stability and a coach that knows how to use it. Moving forward we should mostly see a few guys wanting more playing time transferring instead of over half the team every year.Pretty much have done all that.
