I'm not "sobbing over how my daughter's rights will now be violated" but I just spent a pretty good amount of time comforting my daughter. MY daughter. Rxette. Her pic is down below with Adarius Bowman's parents at the Georgia game in Athens. A real person. Really real, and she wasn't being irrational either. There are plenty of daughters that are upset and hurting right now and we shouldn't be making light of that. They are real people. I've asked Rob to stop. What else can I do?

Rob, please. This is who you are trolling. Stop. Everyone. Stop. We've got to be able to put this all back together and this isn't the way.

Yep. Same with my daughter. She is likely to move out of Texas at her first opportunity. So all the political gamesmanship may have a real impact on my ability to see my daughter.

She wants autonomy over her own body, and who blames her for that? She listens to and reads about all the stuff Trump/Vance/Ben Shapiro/et al say concerning women’s rights and feels like half the country views her as a 2nd class citizen.

Once again, I can’t blame her.

Why did she need comforted? The election?

I understand why your daughter would feel that way right now. I can't see my daughter moving out of Georgia.

The irony is my ex #1, her mother, if she were still alive would be ultra MAGA to the max. I told my daughter that I was proud of her for having a mind of her own, even if she and I disagreed.

Reminds me of Van Jones’ remarks last night.

Your daughter probably needs to understand that the single issue that she’s focused on is but one in a sea of issues involved in deciding a national election.

You sound like a great father, and I had the same thing with my daughter in 2016. She’s 28 now and understands the world’s not ending.
