Looking at the transfer portal and 3 of the top 50 players available are from OSU (9,12,28). Just seems that the team should have done much better than 12-20

UCLA is still a brand and Mick Cronin is still a popular coach. They made the straight sweet sixteens the last two seasons before missing the tournament this year. They also surely have NIL chops. I don't think aggy donors really care that much about basketball, but who knows. He certainly wouldn't choose them for prestige.

Definitely a strange off-season. It is one thing to have a new coach, but the NIL/Portal makes it bizarro world. We won't have an idea of what this team looks like until Summer time.

I would think if decisions are made they would announce and get it over with.

But that may reduce the student athlete's opportunities to extort, I mean work NIL deals, I mean execute pay for play mercenary deals with prospective coaches and schools boosters....

Something always seemed off to me about Garrison. If he wants to waste the next year in Norman, go for it dude. I'll bet he ends up at like 4 different schools before entering the draft.

Justin McBride has entered the portal. Only remaining players from last year's team who have not entered the portal are Thompson, Keller, and Dow.

It will be interesting to see what a nearly full scale roster overhaul over the course of one off-season looks like.

I think an overhaul is fine. And some of those portal guys of ours may decide to stay anyway.
