As a side note and unrelated to the topic, I enjoy watching ordinary people take on people who are ultra talented in a field. It makes me appreciate how talented professionals truly are.
Again, I’m not referring to Kirk. I’m more talking about a normal HS kid challenging LeBron to a pickup game.
That is not at all what I said. I never inferred that he was infallible or an omniscient being. I never said his opinion was always right.
I think we can all agree Charlie was a very talented debater. When an ordinary person tries to debate someone of his ability it can be very frustrating...
He was very good at allowing people he debated to fully express their thoughts. He rarely interrupted and seemed to show them a lot respect.
He however was an unbelievable debater and could articulate his thoughts better than most people. He also was very black and white and would not waver...
You’re not going to change some people’s minds. They’ve heard a few selected quotes that were taken out of context and given to them by liberal talking heads. They can’t be bothered to actually listen to his campus tours.
There are literally thousands of hours of Kirk debating people with...
I watched quite a bit of Charlie Kirk’s debates and podcast, and I felt he was a good man. He definitely wasn’t perfect but a good man. You’re welcome to your opinion of him, but it’s really not hard to understand that running down a dead man’s character is pretty pathetic.
From what I’ve seen “hit list” is her words not his. Also, there’s a big difference between losing your career for something you believe and losing your life. I’m not saying people have to feel bad about his death, but you don’t have to trash a dead man’s character.
This article says more about this professor’s character and yours than it does about Kirk. People need to read what Gavin Newsom, Obama, Biden and Clinton wrote about Kirk. They definitely didn’t agree with Kirk’s opinions but they are the appropriate responses to his death.
I’m a Christian and definitely do not agree with this. That said, if I have to call out and disavow everything idiots say I won’t get much done in my day.
I completely agree. The Bible doesn’t need to be taught in public schools. If you want the Bible taught in your kids school then send them to a Christian school.
I completely agree politics need to be left out of the church. Jesus didn’t preach about politics and neither should pastors. I also don’t want the government dictating what church’s teach. I just see that being used as a political tool for both sides. I don’t have a good answer but...
Who’s going to decide which church receives tax exemption? Do you really want a Trump led administration deciding which church deserves tax exemption. What if a far left candidate wins the next election and decides they don’t like churches preaching homosexuality and abortion are sins? This...
What are people’s opinions on this? Personally I see a gradual decline in population growth as a good thing. This would seem to help reduce the humans environmental strain and reduce wars over natural resources.
I wonder what the old term implications this has on the embryo and eventual child. It seems to me there would be a benefit to only strong sperm reaching the egg.
