After some more research, I retract my initial sentiment that Stitt might be ok. Apparently he and some of our problems on the BOR are tight.

5 years ago, maybe. In a perfect world, you're absolutely right. But we're fighting for survival.

He loves the Pokes, has outstanding connections and has proven to be an aggressive businessman. I don't really like him either but we may need some ruthlessness in the next few years. We can get a nice president after that.

Maybe she could clean up some of the idiots on our BOR.

Texas figured it out in 2012 and baited JW into an int by crashing the nickle. Holgy brought us that play in 2010. Just like everything, Ds eventually figure it out and it's time to change. I'm looking forward to what this new staff comes up with.

This is correct. The big difference is that those were all pre-snap reads and didn't include the fake hand-off. Defenses eventually figured out how to read them and they evolved into what we have now. Refs are also getting more strict about calling them right at 3 yards.
