I was impressed with his interview as well. I wasn’t blown away when this hire was announced, but after watching his interview I am more hopeful that he will be able to do great things with our defense and hopefully prove the doubters wrong.

Interview was great! Scheme is definitely there and his work ethic seems legit. Big question will be recruiting and getting guys in right spots. Super excited to see the changes on defense and what he brings to the table!
No reason not to give this man a chance. Gundy usually does a good job bringing in cultural fit type guys.

He should have a lot to work with. Kirkland is going to be a monster on the inside. I can’t recall the last time we had a tackle of his size and skill set.
He should help in drawing double teams and let guys like Oliver blitz from the outside.
