Cowgirls are #14 in preseason poll and #3 in Big 12 Conference, behind OU and Texas. If OU doesn’t win another NC, it will be a huge upset. Texas and OSU will battle for #2, although Baylor might have an outside shot. We do get Texas in Stillwater, but we travel to Norman (like it matters) and Waco. Non conference schedule has some really tough games - UCLA, Washington, Georgia, and LSU. Other P5 opponents are Wiscy, Georgia Tech, and Northwestern. We will need the youngsters to step up right away.

Of all the teams leaving the Big 12 because of realignment, I am the most happy about OU softball leaving. Maybe we can win some more conference championships. I know that we are adding Arizona and Arizona State but those teams aren't OU.

Just a question--so OU is getting the new Love's Field--and it looks amazing. OSU was in far more need of a new stadium....does Loves have any specific connection with OU? Could they not also help the other state program a little, too? Imagine what Kenny G could do with an actual facility.

Wikipedia search says the founders parents went to 0u but he himself went and dropped out. So pretty standard fair as far as actual connections to the university go for self-proclaimed squats.
