LOL, WTF happened to a coach not being hired until after April 15th? You were very adamant about that the other day.
It’s absurd they don’t run everything. Talk about being “born at home plate.”
It looks like they may lose this game by 50. Maybe the coach is already on the plane.
That is quite possible. Its also the fact that Purdue is an awful matchup for them. They really don't have a center and their couple of bigs got in foul trouble early.
This felt like a game where they had to hit just about every shot to stay in it. Second chance opportunities were few and far between. It also feels like Edey has been playing college basketball for at least a decade.

Purdue is really good. Has been for several years. Part of why Lutz would be a decent look for a hire, having spent I think 4 years there under Painter.
I watched the game and saw it for myself. Do you think it was a good matchup personnel-wise?
Purdue is also just a really good basketball team with a good coach. Along with Houston and UConn they’ve been quite a bit better than everyone else out there. All three have to have an “off game” and opponent has to play dang near perfect to beat them. Purdue can’t play any better than they did today. Bad scenario for Utah State.

No apologies. If he's our coach, I think that's a really good choice and a really good get. Was he my favorite? No, but I'm excited to see what he can do.
Edit: Last year was the first year I really didn't pay any attention to the basketball team except for the OU games. I'm ready to come back in from the cold.
