You need your eyes checked. Greene didn’t get hit with the ugly stick: the whole tree fell on her. That added with her demeanor,attitude, and loyalty to a liar make her one of the ugliest women in America. IMO

Not sure if you’re serious, but it was a legit question. I heard about this story in passing when it happened but zero details. This link was again just the headline with no clickable story. Asking if it’s a private school isn’t defending anything. If I hadn’t looked at an alternate source I wouldn’t have known it was a private Christian school. Anyhoo… There will be a ton of teachers lined up to take these folk’s jobs at a Baptist school. They generally pay substantially better than public schools, but expect you to toe an extreme far right line in order to work there, at least publicly. These two had to know they were crossing that line when they posted this to their social media. It was either an intentional poke in the eye to their employer, or extremely dumb on their part to do so and they paid the price. Judging by the fact they immediately took the firing to news outlets leads me to believe it was the first. Baptist school isn’t an environment for my kid, but it’s the one the parents of the kids that send theirs to are looking and paying for.

He was asking if it was a private school because, like you, he was going to say they're well within their rights.
All I'm saying is when I see garbage people treat people like garbage, I don't need to ask questions because I have a moral compass that points in the right direction.
I think you are correct. Lots of reasons not to post things on social media and posting something that you know your employer will not like is a bad idea if future employment is desired. Easy to do quick search to see many teachers fired for social media posts, only fans sites, etc.
I disagree that attending a drag show should result in a 19-year educator losing her job. However, the fact that the school is a private Baptist school that bills itself as a classical Christian school is absolutely important to the story.
Dudes we still don’t have alcohol at school sponsored professional activities. It’s starting to show up at some meetings, but rarely. Within the past 10 years I had a parent call because she saw a silver can in one of my coach’s golf cart. Teachers and admin live a different life than you do
I get your point, but if you want to cash the bigger checks there are stipulations that go along with them. I don’t think they should have been fired either, but they either made a dumb job killing mistake or an intentional statement. Either way, it was a FA/FO moment for them.
