Wide Receiver Rankings

I saw this week that our wide receiver room has been ranked in last place in the entire Big 12. I don’t get that, this area has always been a strength for us the past 15+ years. Are we really that void of talent at wide receiver? I’ll be shocked if we’re not pretty good at wide receiver again this year.

Just shows how much nobody knows about the Big XII this year.
All this preseason prediction stuff for this conference is an *educated guess

*the level of education varies greatly

It amazes me that after 20 years of sustained success we have one bad year and all of a sudden we no longer get the benefit of the doubt.

Everyone knows preseason rankings of any kind have always been 70% helmet decal, 28% guesswork and 2% facts. Now, in the age of the portal, preseason rankings are even more meaningless, if that's possible. I'd say they are now 71% helmet decal, 28.71% guesswork and 0.19% facts.

Everyone's clueless when it comes to Big 12 ball. The projected dead last program has won the damn conference two out of the last four years.

It's understandable that our Wr room would take a step back after losing one of the best receiver coaches in the game
And losing arguably, one of our most consistent and record breaking WR's. Speaking of which, Presley has had a great pre-season with the Rams. It's looking like he might make the 53 man. The Rams are loaded at WR though, so if he doesn't make it there, there's plenty of teams that would be silly not to find him a spot.

Agree. I think he'll have a 5-10 year NFL career. He's a stud.
