Schubart now leads the team in average and HRs, I will have to check on RBIs. Edit--Benge has more RBIs but also wasn't injured for a few weeks

A stand alone offensive record at osu is impressive enough. For it to be a hr record, when the greatest home run hitter ever played at osu, is incredibly impressive. 4hrs in game is more impressive than a no hitter to me.

Uo football fans. Iowa wrestling fans Mizzery fans in any sport. And Piggy baseball fans. Those are the absolute worst visiting fan bases.
I cannot wait for uo to experience sec roadtrips. It won’t be effKU or Kstate or Iowa St.
I’ve been hoping for uo to be a 2 seed in Fayetteville for the last month of the season punctuated by us hosting. If only we go 7-2 rest of the way and maybe back door a national seed.

By the way, the Pokes went 9-3 in mid week games this year--losing twice to Dallas Baptist and once to....Utah Tech (who is 10-34)

Yeah, but I can see it now: sorry, you almost got to host a regional, but your SOS was too weak.
We;re 25 in RPI right now with only conference series left. SOS currently is 138 (No. 1 aggy is 121 BTW), and can only improve at this point. We're fine, but not likely to host. We need a big season ending winning streak, including a sweep of UT, to get into that conversation.
