I don't disagree with your points, there are a lot of geopolitical elements at play here, but why not say that? Why does this administration continue to pretend this is about drugs? After all they have secured the border, so shouldn't that stop the influx of drugs?

Good question. Legality and optics is my guess. The Central Bank is shady Israel stuff. They like that sort of thing under the radar.

To get over the war crime hump, you have to label your enemy a terrorist and start calling drugs that aren't there WMD.

You have to keep all the normies believing the BS. We're stopping drug terrorists and liberating the oppressed. USA! USA!

Obviously, if we gave a damn about drugs, we'd be squashing the cartels in Mexico overnight. But we are the cartels (CIA). So, that'll never happen.

They're telling you it's about drugs and freeing people. There are no drugs and they don't care about those people. Hell, Trump even mentioned oil. Which he's actually not lying.

It most certainly is about oil along with the Central Bank, China, and rare earth minerals. There's is zero "no wait" there.

“She, I think, was quite gracious, but she really doesn’t have a choice,” Trump said. “She is essentially willing to do what we think is necessary to make Venezuela great again. Very simple.”

Hours after Trump’s news conference, Rodríguez took a radically different tone, slamming the U.S. for its attack on Venezuelan military facilities as special forces soldiers snatched Maduro and swept him off to the U.S. She demanded the U.S. return Maduro, calling him Venezuela’s rightful president.

“Never again will we be slaves, never again will we be a colony of any empire,” she said, flanked by senior officials from Maduro’s government. “We’re ready to defend Venezuela.”

The fate of the Maduro regime’s remnants now lies in which path Rodríguez takes—the way of defiance against Trump, or working with his administration to stay in power.
 
Choosing another socialist and a high power person in the Maduro regime that has oppressed the Venezuelan people for so long instead of the Nobel Peace Prize winner who got 70% of the vote is so unbelievably Trump. What a petty man. Even at this level, it is all about him.

I did.

Maduro and other Venezuelan leaders have been saying it for a while now. They were one of the few countries without a Rothschild Central Bank. Others are Iran, North Korea, Cuba. 25 years ago Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Libya didn’t have one either. Now they do.

I could be wrong though. It’s just about oil and freedom. Or whatever else they’re saying it is.
