When is BPS finally going to get a video ribbon? This is such low hanging fruit to improve our atmosphere

I feel like we are the only major program without one. We spent 50 million realigning vomitories and reseating- surely we can afford a video ribbon

I mean... yes it would improve atmosphere, but there is a pretty good size video board at the end zone. not sure if you noticed that.

Our stadium can hit 100 decibels when it needs to be and I agree it adds to the experience, but it's also just going to be another avenue to shove more advertising down our eyeballs.

Let's be honest, if we got a video ribbon, how long would it take before it was showing ads 75% of the time or more. I guess in this age of NIL we need to do anything we can to make money so if a video ribbon can be a source of revenue, then go ahead and do it but again let's not pretend like we the fans are going to get a ton of scores and stats on the thing.

When you spend two hours driving there, four hours for the game, then two more hours driving home, it is nice to catch some scores when your phone doesn’t work inside the stadium. It feels like it should’ve been done with the original renovations, especially with the open spacing just below the club level seats. I personally love tracking upsets and updates while they occur.

The ribbon board (or lack of) is unquestionably a top 3 dead horse topic on the old OP. When is Garth gonna give us a concert is also in the group.

Beyond that though, we’re 7 saturdays from the start of the season and the excitement round here is palpable!!!

If I need info about other games I’ll just check ESPN on my phone. Instead of a ribbon board, I want the money spent on a roof and air conditioning. That comes after a second deck, though.
