Sorry to break the @Bowers3 rule and taint the politics thread with sports related stuff but this is sort of political and also pretty sickening. My excitement for college sports drops each year that goes by with this stuff.

We only had one 6th grader in middle school ibasketball this year and well it was a young team so we struggled a bit. His last tournament he was really bummed-crying after the last game because that was it for him and basketball in our team uniform. He's really into hockey so going to the high school next year might have been the last time he plays any sort of organized basketball. Plus next year we should be pretty good at basketball except we are losing our center so hopefully one of the 4th graders really shoots up over the summer because the only 5th grader we had this year (it was a young team) is pretty short himself.
