US continues to go backward...

NEGUSE: AG Bondi, that man works for you now, right? The man in that video from January 6 allegedly yelling 'kill them!' at police officers. His name is Jared Wise.

BONDI: He does work for us, yes. I believe he was pardoned by President Trump

NEGUSE: And you expect hard-working police officers to believe you take law enforcement seriously?

Walmart is part of the reason grocery prices are spiking.

The Non Partisan Congressional Budget Office released their findings that Trump's Tariffs cost EVERY single American Household st $1000 More in 2025.

They also estimate that figure will rise to $1300 per American Household in 2026

How does the Wal Mart Conspiracy fit with those facts ?

The Non Partisan Congressional Budget Office released their findings that Trump's Tariffs cost EVERY single American $1000 More in 2025. So My household of 5 spent an additional $5000 in 2025 thanks to Trump's Tariffs

They also estimate that figure will rise to $1300 per American in 2026 so my house hold will spend $6500 per year

How does the Wal Mart Conspiracy fit with those facts ?
I dislike tariffs, but your facts are incorrect. The nonpartisan Tax Foundation estimate $1k per HOUSEHOLD in 2025 and $1.3k per HOUSEHOLD in 2026.

Thanks very much and updated !

Point being made. the CBO , every talking head, and all the Finance people are admitting that Tariffs are driving higher prices.

That is just a fact

Why bring in some conspiracy theory to blame higher prices on Wal Mart. when the Facts are telling us where the higher costs are coming from ?

She is one of the Republicans who has been a Hard No on the SAVE act since it has come up and has voted no on it every time.

Here is the press release from her No Vote on it in April 2025

Rep. Scholten Votes No on SAVE Act That Threatens Voting Rights for Millions

April 2025
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Congresswoman Hillary Scholten (MI03) voted against the SAVE Act, legislation passed by House Republicans that, despite its name, would make it harder for millions of eligible Americans to vote—especially women, service members, Native Americans, and rural voters.

“Let me be clear: only United States citizens should be deciding our elections. Republicans are trying to sell the SAVE Act as a way to stop non-citizens from voting, but we know that’s already illegal. What this bill really does is make it harder for citizens to vote, especially women,” said Rep. Scholten. “This bill doesn’t solve a real problem—it creates one. A busy working mom juggling a job, kids, and everything else life throws at her shouldn’t have to jump through bureaucratic hoops just to exercise her fundamental right to vote. That’s not election security. That’s voter suppression.”

The SAVE Act would hit married women particularly hard as it requires the name on one’s birth certificate to match the driver’s license exactly. As many as 69 million women could be impacted simply because they changed their last name when they got married. Under this bill, those women could be blocked from registering to vote without a passport, which costs $130.

In addition, Military and Tribal IDs would no longer be valid, which would put a steep burden on Native Americans and service members who would be required to submit sensitive military records just to cast a ballot.

West Michigan, in particular, is also home to many individuals who were born in the South and came North to find freedom during the Great Migration, who changed their names upon arrival to start a new, more liberated life. Many haven’t been back to the counties they were born in for decades. Under the SAVE Act, they would be forced to track down their original birth certificate from their birth county and jump through unnecessary hoops.

Scholten voted no to stand up for every American’s fundamental right to vote—no matter their name, background, or ZIP code.

Why do you jump on people this way?

There are plenty of analysis out there that show costs ranging from $1000 per household per yr to $1700 per household per year using CBO data.

In the words of the great Howard Wolowitz “It’s why I added the tator.”

@HacklemanPoke I had bad data and he called it out with the correct data. I updated my post to reflect correct data . Thanks again @JTOSU

What he was calling out was that it was a little bit of a dick way of doing. He could have asked if you ment household instead of per person but no he had call you out. The number was the same. The word was what was off and easily could have been handled a better way.

Wow! Hypocritical much?

Oh, so married women can change the name on their birth certificate?
That was the point of my post, seemed backward to me.
