I have zero knowledge of the DHS release that mark posted.

Arrest them. Treat them in accordance with the law and if found guilty punish accordingly.

My second thoughts were that DHS didn’t just pick those 2 out of the air. This is a response to manipulate the perception resulting from the abduction/mistreatment of the elderly naturalized citizen from SE Asia earlier in the week.

Funny thing about that, the elderly naturalized citizen was living at the last known address of one of the criminals I gave the link to. They were serving a warrant and the citizen refused to ID himself so he was detained until they could ID him. They didn't pick 2 out of the air. They picked 2 that they are actively searching for in St. Paul.

I don't know about you but if the cops busted through my door and drug me out into the street in my underwear because the 70 year old woman who lived at my place before I did robbed a convenience store Id probably be upset about it.

Also it goes to the problem with the tactics ICE is employing. If this were a normal situation they knock on the guys door, get the info they need and are on their way. Instead it turns into an incident that should get a bunch of people fired and the dude a sizeable settlement but now it's just another successful operation for them. Trying to justify that-I don't see how you can do that. At some point you gotta realize how wrong that is.

So far the government has released at least 3 different versions.

1 they mistook him bc he looked like 1 of the suspects
2 one of the suspects was a son in law
3 it was the last known address for one of the suspects.

Now it’s possible that all 3 of those are not mutually exclusive.
