Yes, Trump is playing the race card labeling this “Somali” fraud worthy of more consideration than all the fraud (that is orders of magnitude greater) that he and his are doing and when plenty of white folk are involved in the “Somali” fraud as well.

He used the term "Somali" fraud because the "Somali" immigrants were the ones being used to pull it off AND were benefitting from it.
He (Trump) used the term “Somali” despite many other nationalities, including white folk, being involved in pulling this off and benefitting from it…..and some people bit on the “Somali” over the fraud.

The is the only time I’ve seen on this site where the fraud is being labeled based (inaccurately as there where nationalities involved as well) upon nationality.
There’s a reason that was done by Trump. We don’t label fraud committed by Caucasians as “white guy” fraud.
All fraud should be investigated and prosecuted…..not pardoned as we have seen by this administration.
The fact that Somalis (though not exclusively Somalis) were engaged in criminal conduct doesn’t make it any more or any less of a focus or concern.

I think I’m 100% correct in that the squirrel bait should’ve the first response if there’s any good faith in this at all. You think those chances are incredibly slim with little to no evidence that you can point out. And about that in general….why does the political persuasion….or the nationality….of alleged criminal conduct matter to you in this context? Fraud is fraud. Crime is crime.
And you’ve completely mischaracterized the first responses you got from others as well. I certainly haven’t claimed it shouldn’t be talked about. I’ve consistently said if the fraud occurred it should be investigated and prosecuted. And I have consistently said that labeling it as Somali fraud is squirrel bait because the nationality of the alleged fraudsters doesn’t make it any worse or better than any other fraud.
You’re the one that broke out this “race card” and “do you think I’m racist” nonsense….and are still telling others what “should’ve been the first response” made by others.
