How come a private citizen got to fly on AF2? Is this something we have normally done in the past?

The VP can invite private citizens to fly with them on AF2...just as JD did for Charlie Kirk casket and family and friends to his funeral in AZ
In the past VP have invited press, members of Congress to fly with them on AF2 but it is considered extremely rare for private citizens to fly via AF2...but has happened
Ok. I took it as he was like "here take my jet for the weekend"
Probably not the best look for him to be hopping around on AF2 with her at the moment though

If we can't even sell soybeans to China, we have fundamental problems with how we do business.
As a California resident and a left leaning moderate guy. I am against the principal of California's redistricting and state sanctioned gerrymandering.
As a US Citizen and seeing what Trump told Texas to do as Governor Abbot obediently washed his feet and stroked him to completion by getting more GOP seats; What California did was necessary and I have to put trust in the state not to get as drunk on power as Texas got with their power.
