That is what America gets for electing a billionaire with his billionaire cronies for president as in Trump. The White House is beneath him so he has to make room for a gold ballroom to impress foreign heads and dignitaries. I think it will be built and paid for based on corruption.
 
I am very concerned about the path our country is taking...not only does it appear we are becoming more open with our racism and bigotry AGAIN, but we are allowing a man, one man, only a man to slowly dismantle the Constitution and people are too scared to do anything about it. Sometimes I reflect and think maybe I´m overreacting...I hope I am, but then I turn on the morning news and see ICE dragging people through the streets while their children watch, I see a bulldozer destroying the East Wing to build a f*#king ballroom, I see an AI video of the president crapping on citizens who are simply exercising their 1st amendment rights, I see the National Guard being used against citizens (not for Law and Order), I see prices of goods continue to rise and suddenly it´s barely mentioned on the news, I see us bailing out Argentina and importing (diseased) beef??? really?? did I read that right?? I see our president suing the US for $230 million and saying he doesn´t even need it, probably give it to charity...maybe I don´t want my tax dollars to go to your ´charity´, Make America Great Again?! please explain to me how he is making US great??

It's all of this plus the fact that there are a LOT of people cheering on the demise. They are willing to pay more for things, have less health insurance, be in a less stable country, etc. etc., just to hurt other people. If it makes a gay, trans, or immigrants life a little harder, they are 100% in. But they go to church on sundays, so it's all good.
