US continues to go backward...

Im surprised yall watched it. I didn't even realize his funeral was today.

That being said, I want fireworks at my funeral.

How did they have they have Charlie Kirk's funeral before they announcing how much fentanyl was in his system?

We don't know that it was a lethal shot. Everyone knows fentanyl addicts have weaker bodies than non addicts.

I didn't think Charlie Kirk's followers and fans would believe whatever the Deep State tells them to believe.

I thought Charlie Kirk followers were more independent thinkers and weren't afraid to ask questions of authority.

I wrestle in my mind why the GOP continues to allow tRump to go unchecked; but I´m leaning to that most of them want this new America where we are Christian Nationalists OR is it that they are so opposed to Liberals that an unhinged maga is still better than that OR they are afraid of orangeman OR maybe itś simply, Nobody Knows...

They aren’t idealists.
The ends justifies the means.

Democrats let ideology get in their way and it sometimes results in political losses.

Erika Kirk seems like a monster and anyone who moves through stages of grief to what I saw so quickly is a sociopath.

That ain’t normal.

Good interview, I recommend watching it for a nobel peace prize journalist on the parallels between the Philippines Duterte and the Trump admin.

The good news is that 9 years after he was in power, he is now in prison for human rights abuses.

The joke goes something like this…

So I walked into a funeral organized by a mega evangelical church and the Eulogists had almost as many combined divorces as speakers, a convicted felon, 2 narcotics addicts, a man who wears women’s eyeliner, 2 chain smokers, 1 fired from a previous employer due to lying, another fired for allegedly drinking on the job, allegedly at least 2 dozen adulterous relationships amongst only 4 men, quotes from a Nazi playbook and finally 3 democrats.

It's probably no mystery to cult experts.

I feel like Israel knows.

It's honestly impressive, and shocking, how quickly MAGA has turned Kirks death into a political movement and freakshow. Almost like the whole thing was planned.

Also, Stephen Miller talking at the memorial service is insane.

Erika Kirk is an actress.

Also, @OrangeFan69 - I think everybody supports Israel over Hamas. But Hamas does not equal Palestine. Just to clear that up.

It is gross. They're doing stuff he would hate now and the good conservatives that are asking questions about how this all happened from before, during, and after are all getting completely crapped on for it.

I didn't watch. I think his wife seems off. She is not a very good actress. She seems strange. I did see and hear Tucker's speech and I think it was meant to be very alarming for the powers behind the curtain.

Edit: Israel helped make Hamas. So, technically they Israel = Hamas. Hamas was just an excuse for them to take over Gaza.

I was just reading an article about Trump and Musk having a conversation and shaking hands at Kirk’s memorial. The article explained that Kirk had Trump’s back but really wanted the two men to reconcile. It went further to say that Kirk had a “deep admiration for Musk.

Over the last 2 weeks there has been much discussion regarding the character of Kirk. The admiration for his faith and willingness to take a stand on principles. How his detractors on here post exerts of his comments and don’t post the entirety of his comments thereby misrepresenting what he stood for.

I realize there are many on here who do not profess Christianity. Some profess no faith. I myself identify w Jesus of the Gospels but not American Christianity. I know people who do not profess a faith but from my readings and discussions w pastors I fully believe these people portray what Jesus teaches more so than a majority of the American Christians I know.

I will say again. I do not know Charlie’s heart. What I have seen is MAGA and segments of American Christianity bend over backwards to actually portray him a saint.

I will say that it does make me seriously consider how a person of strong American Christian faith who debates about all things politics and theology so much so that his saying is “prove me wrong” can have such strong and deep admiration for an individual who has 14 children w 4 different women. Isn’t Kirk the same person who has spoken very critically about a culture of absentee fathers? But sometimes those debates are in the context of race so is that what makes those positions ok when Musk is to be admired as an absentee father? I truly don’t know.

Also, how does one of such high spiritual character have strong admiration for a man who profits from one of the largest disseminators of pornography of all kinds in the world? This doesn’t even speak as to the other truly evil and anti Christian, anti semitic and anti Islam posts on X or the racist and misogynistic posts.

Politics and theology aside. A blind sample of Musk’s characteristics are not something to admire let alone “deeply” admire. “Deeply” to me carries the connotation of soul or spirit. So what is it that drives someone’s deep admiration for such a person?

I say the same thing about all these conservative Christians who adore this man...my family (mon, dad, siblings) are all about Christianity, go to church every Sunday, consider themselves Godly people, yet totally and cultishly love tRump...it baffles my mind that Christians hold this vile person in such high regards...I honestly can´t figure it out...it make zero sense to me...

IMO it’s because a lot of America’s Christianity is a brand to be consumed and no where close to a faith to be lived out in our daily lives.
