US continues to go backward...

One would think so, yet here we are with some weirdly silent board “libertarians” basically shrugging their shoulders.

It’s not surprising, but it is definitely telling.
It's why I left the LP. This is exactly what we were supposed to be against. But this is right coded authoritarianism, so it's different apparently. Even a good thing in the minds of these people.

If Josh Hawley runs true to form, he’ll make noise like he has principles on an issue and then vote right along with the rest of MAGA….as quietly as possible.

Well you are a sitting US Senator. If you think the executive branch is overextending its authority you could do something about it.

These spineless aholes really like to talk but are useless when its time to act.

But that’s not how it happened, right?
That’s exactly how it happened.

FCC threatening to pull ABC’s license unless it did something about it.

ABC bowing to such pressure and kissing the ring.

It’s also how it happened with Colbert. DOJ refusing to allow a merger for CBS to go through. CBS paying protection money to Trump via his ridiculous 60 Minute lawsuit and ending Colbert’s show. Merger approved within days.

“If I see people out there saying what I think are terrible, hateful things about Charlie Kirk or about Christians or about Jewish Americans, then I’m going to forcefully condemn that and push back on that,” Hawley said.

Wonder if he feels the same way about Muslim Americans or the LGBQT community?
