Yea not sure if we didn’t recruit her or she just wanted to go out of state but it’s definitely not ideal to let talent leave the state. I actually coached her in middle school track. She was a state qualifier in the shot put too until she quit to focus on softball. High character kid. Super smart.

I didn't notice at first, but she's a catcher. With Wang and now Hasler, and with Schneidmiller backing them up, maybe there wasn't a spot for her...BUT dang

In the last two weeks, admittedly against top pitching, this team has regressed to last years approach. They are getting out with weak contact on the pitcher's pitch, and despite what they are being told by Kenny and Shippy, chasing the same pitches over and over.

All three batters that inning could have walked. The strike zone is tiny but they don't take advantage.

I don’t know much about softball but it looks like Meylan is getting squeezed bad. Lots of strikes not called, immediately followed by hits

She's not getting the call at the knees, and she's giving in and throwing it higher and it got hammered twice. I've NEVER seen her frustrated by the strike zone but you've seen her ask a few times "where was that?" as in she genuinly wants to know.
