All of our best pitchers are starters..Watkins couldn’t get it done so I knew we’re in trouble

Walton’s inability to construct a consistent bullpen is legendary.

Problem is he’s relying on freshman who can’t throw strikes as well as veteran pitchers like Blake and Phillips

Not throwing strikes has been a consistent problem for Walton bullpens over the years. This is nothing new regardless of year in school.

While there’s some truth to that….this year is bad compared to previous years. Last year wasn’t bad though

Yeah I would’ve let him work through it considering he hasn’t thrown all week and we have a decent lead. The belief in Wech is wild. He has about as many walks as innings pitched but we keep tossing him out there.
