So much for the “still playing hard”, moral victory stuff from TCU. No excuse for getting drilled like that on your home court.

Still a few weeks to go but Lutz first season is not showing the promise we’d all hoped for, especially with a team dominated with upperclassman. He’ll get almost a whole new roster next year to work with. A little over a year from now we should be able to determine whether he is the program builder we were told or a bust. Gotta admit it stings a bit to see McCollum 23-2 at Drake. Not saying that would be his record here, but he’s probably not going to last long at Drake and will likely be highly sought after.

Yea we have a lot of upper classmen, but nearly all are transfers. We got going way too late on recruiting and we pretty much have a whole bunch of “whatever was left” guys. It seems now all those upper classmen have given up on the season.

Practically getting beat by 40 on your home court is inexcusable. Period.

I can't even put it into words how I feel about this program right now. I really hope Lutz gets it going at some point.

Holder certainly has responsibility in the decline of the program but so does the guy that brought it back to life as does his son whom he anointed as his replacement.

No doubt about that. He let Underwood get away being a tight wad. Was way to liberal with Ford and Boynton. Nothing was learned and then Gundy was given a virtual bird nest on the ground.

The SEC with Alabama and Auburn are now powerhouses in college basketball in large part because of NIL and also because they have hired some really good (but sketchy) college coaches. I saw somewhere that Iowa State invested heavily in college basketball, but Houston invested far less. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I hope Coach Lutz is willing to beat the bushes for NIL money after the season is over, taking calls, going to every alumni, Kiwanis, and Elks meeting he can to make us competitive.

In other words, I hope he does what Gundawg won't.
