spring game

I thought DM looked really good outside of the interception. His ball had a lot of zip, he saw the field really well, and hit the receivers in stride. Each of the offensive skill positions look really athletic. 81 looks like a beast but I think he just caught one pass. The tackling was good and the front four was able to get to the other QBs several times. 52 came in late so it may not matter but he was a tackling machine. Given the fact that we have a whole new roster, I came away cautiously optimistic.

I pictured Mike Gundy typing this with all of the player number references. Thanks for the update.

Of the other QBs did anyone stand out?
I think Vehrs is going to be pretty good in the future personally. He plays with a lot of confidence. Don't know if he will pass Jordan for #2 this year but I like the way he commanded the offense when he was out there.

I was impressed with #52, Tom Watts, as well at linebacker. He played with some fire.

Kristen said I should go rattlesnake hunting and not endure the agony. But, I just couldn’t pass up the chance to tuck my sweatshirt into my socks again and see the pokes. Pat and RA were in my suite and we all relived the old times.
