Portal Recruiting and Roster Updates

Vukovic has committed to George Washington University of the Atlantic 10 Conference. So he did end up going to a mid-major.
Best of luck to him. The NIL budget last year at GW was not that great, but maybe he gets more playing time in DC.

Before the house ruling, NIL has served as a replacement for financial opportunities in college sports by allowing student-athletes to profit through third-party deals. GW has their own NIL collective, Friends of George collective, that has spent $4 million overall on its men’s basketball program. But GW’s NIL collective pales in comparison to athletes at other schools who are making millions of dollars alone in NIL offers. In an interview from 2023, men’s basketball Head Coach Chris Caputo acknowledged recruits and transfers considering other schools for better NIL earning opportunities.

Roster is almost full, do we have a legit play making guard or 2 that has all big 12 potential? I can’t tell
My guess for starting 5 is:
PG: Clary
SG: Natt
SF: Felesi
PF: Allmond
C: Big Kiwi

I really think those two freshmen are gonna surprise a lot of folks.

2nd unit of:
PG: Walker
SG: Bovac/Crotty/Robinson whoever separates themselves
SF: Montonnati
PF: Grbovic
C: Ahmed and mop up minutes for Ragland

I know it was a ton of work and we have a ways to go before Nov, but your profiles ahead of the season from last year were the best stuff on the team anywhere. I hope you have the time and inclination to do that again.

Also, looks like we are at 13 roster wise. Any word on us holding a spot open for Parsa just in case the long shot lands? And it might be a non factor give the word could come in by end of May.

First I have heard of Parsa possibly being back. How would that be possible?
