We are at 11. I am with everyone suggesting we need a pass first point guard. We need a big man that can play a lot of minutes. And beyond that I think we need some more big men that can provide depth and play minutes if the starters are in foul trouble.

Have we had a 7 footer who could actually play since Big Country?
Technically not 7' but probably Brett Robisch.

Ben Baum was supposed to replace Country but he didn't pan out.

I think Alex Webber would have been really good, if it wasn't for his back injuries that he had early in his OSU career. He was a couple years after Country and before B. Robisch.

4 returners that know the culture. Least that’s more than just Jennings and Andreij returning.

3 defensive stars from the portal

4 potential superstar freshmen.

Interesting blend that I kind of like! Hoping all the 20ppg can learn to share the ball and lead to more wins
I wouldn’t call Bogavac a defensive star. But other than that, hell yeah.

I’d have rather kept Vukovic. Vuk has more size and he actually put up more boards, assists and blocks last year in fewer minutes per game.

A few notes on Grbovic:

He is also from Montenegro just like Bogavac. I wonder if they ever played together on national teams?

If so, it is interesting that of 4 transfers that Lutz is bringing in so far, all of them would have played with one of the other transfers so far. (Natt and Walker played together at SHSU and Bogavac and Grbovic perhaps have played together at some point)

Edit: Just saw on PFB that Bogavac and Grbovic did indeed play on the same team together in Montenegro.

Although he is 6'11", he is not a traditional back to the basket big man. 123 out of his 188 FGAs last year were 3 point attempts, of which he made 35%. Could partially explain his less than expected rebound numbers for his size. Probably not in position to make a lot of offensive rebounds.
