North Texas is solid, especially defensively. TV showed the graphic that they gave up the second fewest points per game in D1, only one point more than Houston. And we suck offensively. But we as a program should beat North Texas, especially at home 90+ percent of the time. This is a bad loss. Let’s hope Lutz brings in some dudes and we’re better next year.

I'd say we're pretty even with North Texas. We knew this was going to be a battle from the tip off. The home court advantage didn't help us as it has all year.

They improved over the year, when was the last time we could say that. It's a start but unfortunately only football matters anymore. I don’t hate the Brantley foul. It’s a hard foul on the arm. In fact, no matter what the idiot Fran says, it’s weak thats called flagrant, it’s just a hard foul. I want guys playing hard til the last whistle. All of you would def be bitching if he just let him score with no challenge there.

I know most of this team will be gone next year, but this team has missed so many layups and FTs those issues have to be addressed and have to be an emphasis next year. Really hoped that he would bring fundamentally sound basketball, but he really hasn’t so far.

Huh? Sutton teams played way better defense. I am not saying lutz is a bad coach but this team is inconsistent. When you have guys that can’t score consistently, you have to bring the defense and we don’t

Sutton’s team almost always had high basketball IQ , when is the last OSU team with that?

Sutton never had a losing record. Even his worst team was much smarter than this. I'm happy with the overall improvement from the season, but that doesn't mean that they aren't frustrating to watch.

In general this has been a problem with college basketball. When a team is down and desperate late in the game, they get away with murder. I know it’s in our favor right now but it is not fair
