OSU vs Kansas Official Game Thread

It's apples and oranges. If we had the financial support that other schools do, we would have a ten win team right now. We had proven winners as coaches, but no donor support because of personality conflicts with the coach.

Now we have neither. But in a few months, we may have both. It's crazy how quickly programs that used to take years to build can be put together in the current landscape.

If Chad can find someone who can coach and get our donors back on board, then we're back in the game.
Since the coach and AD differed by $10 million on the NIL budget, I have no clue what it really is.

That being said, it’s pretty clear that we need a guy who can hire a great GM and solidly identify the transfers that we spend $$$ on. There’s a ton of $$$ being thrown around all over the country for guys that simply don’t perform & it’s crazy.

Had to laugh yesterday when a bank here in Colorado rolled out their NIL deal with Kaidon Salter. Dude’s leading a 3-6 team and has been benched multiple times this season. Plus CU gave him a bag to come from Liberty. CU would’ve been better off putting that $$$ into their terrible Oline and going with the freshman four star QB. Now they’re facing Salter graduating and probably losing Lewis to transfer.

A program like ours is still gonna have to go after the 2-3 year developmental guys Gundy made a living off of, and really be efficient with the portal guys we bring in.
