OSU v USF Game thread

I didn’t even realize OSU basketball played today. Is there any way to watch a replay? If not, and someone happened to record the game, I’d gladly pay for a YouTube upload.

Edit: Found a replay.

Quote from the article : From 1:09 left in the first half to 5:48 left in the game, OSU went 22-for-27 from the field. That, my friends, is nuts. That stretch included six 3-point makes.

That's insane to read. Its also insane that USF was able to keep up with that. When was the last time we have been this explosive on offense?

I liked the rotation. It was good to see coach shorten the bench against a tougher opponent.

2 players over 30 minutes.
5 total over 20 minutes.
6th and 7th players with 16/17 minutes.
Curry with only 13 minutes but coming back after being sick (he had 31/32 minutes in the first 2 games)
Building some chemistry.
That's the biggest issue I think the Pokes are facing right now. They haven't all been healthy at the same time so they can't build that chemistry. At this point they are mostly healthy. I think the only rotation player that isn't 100% is Jennings. This team will continue to gel and get better as the season progresses.

The team stats surprised me. I didn't realize how much better we shot and there wasn't a big discrepancy in Turnovers (3) and Rebounds were even.

SF was +4 on FTM and I think we only missed one front end on 1-n-1's.

I guess all the little things added up to keep SF within striking distance despite the great shooting night.

I think Jennings is the 9th/10th player on the team with Vukovic. Only one of them will get the 10-12 minute roll unless there are injuries.

We definitely had some bad moments with team chemistry, but it seemed like Roy wasn't quite fitting in like he did in the Auburn scrimmage. At least those bad moments didn't last the entire game. :ROFLMAO:
